Church Art and Environment Committee
Help is especially needed at St. Stanislaus Church in recruiting new members for the Church Art and Environment Committee
You may notice that as different liturgical seasons roll around here at St. Stanislaus, the Church Décor changes.
The Art & Environment Committee works to bring beauty and a prayerful atmosphere to our Worship space. Their goal is to enhance our worship experience by providing liturgically appropriate decoration, not to distract form the Mass. This will be done by coming up with Liturgical themes that echo the whole life of Christ through the seasons of Advent, Ordinary Time, Lent, Easter and other special occasions/events. The committee is looking for willing hands to help them rearrange decorations and make our worship space beautiful. We are a multi-cultural parish, and the A&E Committee is looking for ways to honor other cultures, and are always open to new suggestions and ideas. If you are interested in volunteering, please email your interest and information for the Art & Environment Committee at: info@ststanscc.org sessions for new members are scheduled as needed
Requirements:
- All members must complete the diocesan Safe Environment Training for Adults
Helpful Attributes:
- Flexible schedule during the various feasts, seasons, and particular celebrations within the liturgical year.
- Desire to create a beautiful environment to enhance liturgies
WHAT ELSE DO PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS MINISTRY?
This ministry also takes care of the exterior and members are needed to maintain a beautiful and inviting outdoor space as well. More on this part in the near future.
