32nd Sunday of Ordinary Time

by Fr. Adrian Cisneros  |  11/06/2022  |  From the Clergy

Thank you to all who responded to the call to serve at a ministry of the Mass! I appreciate the many of you who stepped up and said yes! For those who are still undecided, feel free to contact the parish office if you discern you are ready to serve-we can always use more ministers!

In the listening sessions I held in July and August, there were several things that came up at every single one of them; those were: adult/family catechesis, in-person catechism for children, a call to serve/ministry, something offered for the youth, and updates about the parish. There were many more, but these five were the most mentioned. You will begin to see some of these hopes realized very soon, with others taken into consideration and discerned in the coming months.

Many of you, as well as myself, have been thinking about all those parishioners who we no longer see at Mass. Many of them are still around and maybe you even see some of them around town. When you do, graciously welcome them and invite them back to Mass here at St. Stanislaus, and continue to pray for those friends and family members of yours who have been away from Mass and the Church. A personal invitation goes a long way, and it is really an easy thing for all of us to do. Our prayers for them are also powerful-let God do the heavy lifting and convert them back to his loving arms.
