The Advent season is quickly approaching and what better way to enter into the Advent season and prepare for Christmas than by spending an evening of prayer and reflection. All parishioners are invited to attend our Advent Mission: Made for More. Made for More is an inspired blend of live music, art and presentation that taps the deepest desires of the human heart revealing their ultimate purpose and goal.

I invite you to join Christopher West as he offers a vision of the Gospel like you’ve never heard through the lens of St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. Theology of the Body is the principle that our bodies reveal the divine story that, as the Catechism of the Catholic Church tells us in paragraph 1, “God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life…” There are things God wants us to know about who HE is and who we are and “he calls (us) to seek him, to know him, to love him with all our strength”. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to spend an evening of beauty and reflection on the meaning of life, love, and human destiny.

We will all come away with a faith-filled vision of hope that will instill in you the sheer wonder and joy of being alive. In our world, today, our bodies, our gender and our beliefs are under attack and we have lost sight of what a person is anymore.
